Ms. Black serves as one of GovTech’s Subject Matter Experts (SME) and as a Project Manager. As her resume indicates, she has a solid grasp on providing leadership in the implementation of technology in the administration of justice.
Ms. Black retired from the IBM Corporation after a successful 28 year career. She has many diverse skills with expertise in the areas of process re-engineering and the management of complex projects, including the delivery of complex I/T solutions to clients to meet their business needs.
Ms. Black also has an expertise in education, having served as Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University for six years in both the Undergraduate Leadership Program and the Communications Department Internship Program.
Ms. Black received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwestern University and Masters in Social Work from Jane Addams School of Social Work, University of Illinois.
She is also the owner of her own small business, an organic vegetable farm, vineyard, and award-winning wine business.
