Haje Black
Ms. Black is a management consultant with GovTech, Inc., a boutique consulting firm serving the justice community. She retired from the IBM Corporation after a successful 28 year career, developing three areas of expertise: Complex Sales, with attainment of annual sales quotas, up to $250M, Sales Management, with attainment of up to $3B annual sales, and Management Consulting expertise in the areas of process re-engineering and project management, providing complex I/T solutions to clients to meet their business needs. She also has an expertise in education, having served as adjunct professor at Northwestern University for 6 years in both the Undergraduate Leadership Program and the Communications Department Internship Program. She is the owner of her own small business, an organic vegetable farm, vineyard, and award- winning wine business. Ms. Black received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwestern University and Masters in Social Work from Jane Addams School of Social Work, University of Illinois. |

Robert Corbett
Mr. Corbett is a seasoned Human Resources consultant, a certified executive coach with the International Coaching Federation. Additionally he is certified in several assessment tools including, Lominger’s Voices 360 and Myers-Briggs MBTI. He is a practitioner and thought leader with 25+ years of experience in leadership, coaching and consulting roles in a variety of industries including manufacturing, technology, aerospace, healthcare, financial services, energy, education, consulting and government. He has effectively lead cross functional teams and worked in multiple countries. His consulting expertise includes board of directors level presentations, leadership and executive coaching, organization development, succession planning, management development, performance management, reward system development, talent acquisition systems, team performance, and meeting facilitation. Mr. Corbett earned a BS in Psychology, a MS in Industrial Relations, and a MS in Organization Development from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. |

Professor Paul Arntson
Professor Arntson is a professor of Communication Studies at Northwestern University, where he has been on faculty since 1974. He is the founder and director of Northwestern University’s Undergraduate Leadership Program, and a senior faculty researcher in the Asset Based Community Development Institute at the Institute for Policy Research. Professor Arntson has conducted research and training programs in British, Australian, and American primary care contexts, with patients, self help groups, and neighborhood associations in order to improve citizens’ decision making competencies concerning their health and the well-being of their communities. Past projects include a tuberculosis control program in Ethiopia, a wellness initiative on the Westside of Chicago, and an investigation of how new communication technologies can be used to support community building in low-income areas. Currently, he is trying to understand how health care professionals can successfully partner with community based organizations. Professor Arntson previously held the Van Zelst Chair in Communication Research and now holds the first Alumnae of Northwestern Teaching Professorship. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Communication Arts, with a minor in Educational Psychology. |

Bob Gleason
Mr. Gleason worked for fourteen years for Dale Carnegie, a privately owned, international training and consulting firm. While there he held the roles of sales manager, Director of Instruction and Director of Corporate Solutions for the consulting division of the company. In 1997 Mr. Gleason joined The Revere Group, a business and technology consulting firm. During his twelve years with Revere he started the Change Management Practice in 1997, managed the Milwaukee office from 2000 to 2005 and served as a member of the Business Transformation practice in the Midwest through 2009. During his career Mr. Gleason has refined his ability to coach and advise organizational leaders and leadership teams to improve their performance by improving personal abilities, team dynamics, organizational alignment and processes. In particular Mr. Gleason works with leadership teams to create corporate cultures that give them a competitive advantage in this period of disruptive change. |

Nick Carroccia
Mr. Carroccia is the founder and Managing Partner of GovTech, Inc., a boutique consulting services firm that specializes in serving the Justice Community. He retired from the IBM Corporation after a successful 25 year career, developing expertise in complex project management, management consulting services, and sales and sales management. Mr. Carroccia has provided guidance to government agencies and small to large businesses on the use of technology, along with change management techniques and business process re-engineering to enable business transformation. As a seasoned manager, he knows that people are one of the most essential elements to successful change. Recently, Mr. Carroccia provided leadership to medium-size County in the State of Illinois on the development and implementation of an Integrated Criminal Justice Information System. He has provided leadership and consulting services to many other non-government clients, obtaining a “high level” of customer satisfaction. For four years, he served as Adjunct Professor in the School of Communications at Northwestern University in the Undergraduate Leadership Program where he instructed in the Strategies and Paradigms of Leadership Program. Mr. Carroccia received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Illinois University where he majored in Mathematics with a secondary concentration in Computer Science. He is also a Commissioner on the Economic Development Commission for the City of Marengo. |

Jamie Leno Zimron
Ms. Zimron, known as “The Golf Sensei” / Master Instructor, provides a highly unique experiential “mind-body” component to The Verbs of Leadership program, helping to physically substantiate and ground the discovery process of true new keys to peak performance, executive leadership, team building, stress management, and workplace wellness. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, Ms. Zimron is acclaimed for her innovative teaching methods developed throughout her remarkable career as a 5th Degree Aikido Black Belt, LPGA Golf Professional and gold medal winner, licensed Marriage Family Therapist and Sports Psychologist, Mind-Body Fitness Expert and international Citizen’s Diplomat. She helped introduce “The Art of Peace” in the ex-Soviet Union; has worked with a wide variety of students, universities, corporations, conferences and charity golf events, co-founded the Association of Women Martial Arts Instructors, and is co-founder and current director of the non-profit Middle East Aikido Project bringing Israelis and Palestinians together both “on and off the mat.” She sees that people learn best and are able to implement positive change and success strategies when they are physically as well as mentally engaged, empowered to utilize their inherent talents and have a good time. In the words of Ken Blanchard, author of The One Minute Manager: “Business, and golf, are all about energy flow. Jamie’s the master so let The Golf Sensei be your guide!” |
