“When a government entity takes on a large, complex information technology (I/T) project, it is essential to bring in outside skilled and experienced assistance.   Most county government agencies do not have the staff in-house with either the time or the experience to successfully manage a large scale I/T project.  Also, needed is a firm that can provide the leadership to work in a colaborative maner, building consensus-decisions among the many stakeholders involved in these complex projects.

GovTech personnel did all of these things for McHenry County, culminating in the successful implementation and rollout of a new Integrated Court Information System and a Strategic Plan for future implementation of Integrated Criminal Justice Information System. 

It was a difficult assignment, but a job well done!!!”
